5 Years of The Great Cloth Diaper Change! February 25 2015

The Great Cloth Diaper Change is a global event coordinated by the Real Diaper Association (RDA) that is taking place on April 18th, 2015 at 144 locations in 10 different countries around the world. The RDA is a collective non-profit organization in which parents and small businesses take the lead in creating a cultural shift to increase the use of simple, reusable cloth diapers. The RDA organizes local advocates and activists for cloth diapers through a member-supported, online resource center. The RDA trains organizers, distributes educational information, and supports local diaper circle groups, connecting cloth diapering families to cloth diaper resources and knowledge in their communities.
The Great Cloth Diaper Change was created to raise awareness about cloth diapers, to demonstrate how simple and affordable they are, and to raise funds for the RDA. Over the years they have grown and every year they set a new Guinness World Record for the most cloth diapers changed at the same time. In 2014, they set the current record with 8,429 babies changed at one time around the world. This year is shaping up to be even bigger and better!
